Nora is FOUR!

I can't believe that Nora is four years old... it just doesn't feel like it could be true... and yet, here she is, telling me all about how the world works through her eyes. She's insistent about some things... like what she wears, what is under the flooring in our kitchen, and that she really wants to dye her hair rainbow on top, silver on one side, and gold on the other. The girl has ideas... and I love that about her! Luckily, I'm still in charge of hair color around here.

We have a tradition where Mike takes the day off of work for the birthday girl's big day, and the four of us go gallivanting off to have as much fun as possible! Today Nora chose to go to Happy Hollow, so we braved the weather and went... and we were glad we did! It ended up being beautiful outside and we had a great time!

Since we were in San Jose we drove by our old house... (and apparently we loved it so much this is the only picture we ever took of the front of it)...

...and told Nora stories of coming home from the hospital when she was born, and how Phoebe just kept hugging her! She really liked hearing stories about when she was a baby. It was a trip down memory lane for me... remembering her as this baby...

...and now she is four...
