Highlights are (depending on who you are)...
...the HUGE variety of pumpkins and other gourd monstrosities to choose from!
...a plethora of cute baby animals to hold and cuddle...
...climbing hay bales...
...jumping hay bales...
...racing your uncle on hay bales... (this is agricultural country after all)...
...and we all enjoy hanging with family...
After the trip to the pumpkin patch we came home and proceeded to get ready for Halloween... Phoebe was a spider...
And Nora was a witch... (a neon orange witch without her hat... but that's Nora... she'll take something and make it her very own!). Notice Phoebe's black hair and Nora's orange hair. Please take extra special note as we will NEVER be doing that again. The baths following these costumes took TWO hours and many tears (at least three of us cried... not really, but almost) to get that sh*t out.
And... as per usual Mike and I dug out old costumes to go with them (actually, my mom did too... but she took this picture for us so she isn't shown here).
We all went into Santa Cruz for a little daytime trick-or-treating...
...and to see other people's costumes!

...and of course, we take breaks to sample the afternoon's effort... and to let me take pictures!
Hope you guys had as great an October as we did!
