Every year we try to make a trip up to the snow. This year... there just hasn't been much... but we went anyway. We were actually glad we did. We went to a cabin that happened to be on a hill and a neighbor used his jeep to make a toboggan run alongside the road. I didn't get pictures of the run... but we took lots of video. It was about 75 yards long... and it was quite a ride!
We also built the customary snowman...
...the mandatory snow angels...
...and we used food coloring in spray bottles to make colorful snowballs.
The girls played "polar bear", a game Phoebe invented when she was about 3 years old, which primarily involves crawling around eating snow.
Since the snow wasn't terribly deep we went on a walk... and found animal tracks! Nora decided they were fox tracks... she swore she saw a fox out the window... but we kinda thought the way they were so close together it seemed pretty rabbit-like. However... just in case you talk to Nora we all agreed that she must have seen a fox.
Mostly we took things slow... nursed Mike back from a cold... and ate too much food. It was fun... but I think we might be taking ourselves too seriously...
We really need to relax.

That's funny that we both made the same face and bunny ears. Guess we were made for each other!
ReplyDeleteWe certainly were ;)
