The very first afternoon the kids were anxious to make our way down to the lake... so we walked over on the road (we were only 3 houses down the street from their favorite beach)...
It was wonderful... mostly we spent our time playing in the water...
We rented a kayak and took the girls out a few times...
And wildlife is always great fun! Deer...
And TONS of Canada Geese...
Even though we saw a few frogs this year, it was a little early for catching them like we did last year!
And of course, we spent some down time chillaxin' with the stuffies...
Yes, it was wonderful...
...right up until I had to come home to my messy house and 6 loads of laundry... why do vacations always end that way?
