I see a budding musician... playing her favorite songs on the piano...
...and I feel proud of her for working on her skills, and I am sure she enjoys doing it... just for her... feeling good about herself.And if I turn this way...
I am aware that we do not all feel this way... and that others in the family see this as an intrusion on their playtime...
And then I get to choose if I'm going to laugh or cry... or if I'm on the fence I can just take pictures.

ReplyDeleteAddison always whines and cries if I even sit with Audrey for a minute for piano. I think they get jealous of one-on-one time. I now put her in the bath for "play-time" and then take some time to help Audrey on the piano. Works so far!!
