Happy days...

Yesterday was a beautiful spring day here in the Santa Cruz area... and we took advantage! We went to a birthday party and came home with blue tongues... exhibit A:
It was a great party with lots of people, lots of playing, great food, and even live music. It was truly fun. In the car on the way home Nora said "I had a REALLY good time at that birthday party!". "Me too", I told her.

Then Mike and I got to have a date, where we went to see my favorite musician of all time... Michelle Shocked. And I'm downright GIDDY about the signed copy of her CD...

Good music, dancing, parties, late nights with Grandma babysitting... what more could you ask for???
